The Hickory Velo Club (HVC) carries Participant Accident (PA) insurance coverage for our members who are participating in club-sanctioned rides or activities. The brochure* attached to this page highlights a number of League of American Bicyclists (LAB) insurance programs, but the HVC only has the PA policy. It is highlighted on the attached PDF.
Please note, that the club has not paid the added Mountain Biking premium. So Mountain Biking is NOT a covered activity. However, gravel rides ARE covered.
If you are involved in an accident on a club-sanctioned ride or during a club-sanctioned activity, please reach out to a club officer for information on how to file a claim.
*Please note that although the attachment is the 2024 insurance program brochure, the coverages are the same for 2025.
